When Sarah bought this home she and her son immediately loved the openness of the bright airy space and the look of the wide staircases. They also loved being able to use the Westpark pool, tennis and basketball courts. She also found it handy that she was 15 minutes to the gate of her job at Edwards AFB and 15 minutes from Lancaster. What she didn't like was a little lack of space in the kitchen so she installed an island to solve the problem. She, her mom and kids spend the most time in the family room where it seemed very dark so she installed a beautiful lit fan. Problem solved. But she didn't stop there. She also installed a fan in the upstairs landing. With the tankless water heater, she wanted something for safety for her kids so both upstairs showers have led lights showing when the water is hot, cold or warm. She also felt the closets left a little to be desired so she installed closet systems in all the bedrooms. They also love to spend time in the backyard with a covered patio and tile flooring and fire pit. And Sarah loves growing veges in the raised garden beds. She wasn't wild about the interior flooring so she installed beautiful wood look floors and painted the interior. Her family likes technology so she installed USB ports in electrical outlets in the dining room and all the bedrooms but one. Several of them have nightlights built in. Her electrical bill was a problem so she bought a solar system that she loves and hasn't paid an electric bill since.
